UNDP: Lion’s Share

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) required a strategy to create and launch a digital platform to raise money for conservation efforts.

About the project

The team and I created a digital platform called, “ROAR” for users, stakeholders, corporate partners, and local conservation actors to share their passion in conservation.

ROAR is a new way for the UNDP to raise money from private organizations. After pledging funds to the UNDP, access to ROAR would be given to corporate partners. Their employees would be able to use the platform to track their organization’s investments in conservation efforts. The employees would have the opportunity to donate their own money to build a portfolio of conservation “investments”. ROAR is a platform that delivers continuous value to organizations and their employees. Firstly, working directly with the UNDP, organizations can be sure the initiatives that ROAR is investing in will cover the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, employees will be able to see the conservation efforts that their organization is investing in, resulting in greater corporate transparency.

Value Provided

I aided in conceptualizing the strategy and conducting research for the digital platform. I designed the digital platform using the already established Lion’s Share brand. I designed the various workflows for the various platform participants and helped write and design the ROAR pitch deck.
